4 x 400m Relay Team

In the New Jersey "Meet Of Champions" held February 21, 2009 at the Toms River Indoor Track
Facilities, Freehold Township High School's 4 x 400 boys relay team took home 4th place honors. Running their fastest
time yet, 3:23.8, they broke their previous school record of 3:25 set last week in the "NJ Group IV Championships".
This however, was just some hundreths of a second to short.
Rahway .................1st place...... 3.23.02
Timber Creek ........2nd place ....3.23.42
Columbia..............3rd place.......3.23.47
Freehold Twp........4th place.......3.23.81
The "Meet of Champions" matched-up the best relay teams from the entire state of New Jersey.
Each qualifyed by winnning their respective group championships. Freehold Twp. was grouped in the final heat of the
day, which placed the six fastest schools from all over NJ together. The race was a blaze of speed from begining
